I am a potential participant in the UK. . .

Please register your interest using the UK MS Octopus Register form.

Participants who are currently registered in the UK can read the latest updates on the MS Register Blog.

The Registration of Interest form is held in the MS Register. The MS Register is a ground-breaking research study designed to increase understanding of living with MS in the UK.

If you are:

  • UK based
  • over 18 years old
  • diagnosed with MS

You can join the MS register online and help by completing a series of simple questionnaires and returning them regularly. The website can also be used to keep track of your MS over time.

I am a potential participant in Australia. . .

Please register you interest using MS Trial Screen.

MS Trial Screen is a screening tool developed by the University of Tasmania to link potential participants to clinical trial sites via an eligibility survey. This survey will include a number of questions around your personal attributes such as age and diagnosis and will use this information to determine whether you are eligible to participate in the trial. If you are eligible and agree to be contacted, a trial site will contact you for an appointment to further assess your eligibility.

If you are a person living with MS and would like to further contribute to other MS research, you can register to a survey-based research study called The Australian MS Longitudinal Study (AMSLS).

For more information about registering your interest as an Australian participant, please visit the Platypus webpage.

Please note that the Octopus trial is known as Platypus in Australia.

Octopus is funded by the MS Society with supported funding from MS Australia and MSWA for the Australian extension Platypus
